Students who enroll in Occupational Therapy degrees at Chatham are part of a leading university in graduate health science programs. We offer a traditional on-campus graduate program and two programs in online and hybrid formats for practicing therapists or therapist assistants. Students can also gain valuable fieldwork experiences with our clinical partners in several traditional and role-emerging settings.
This fully on-campus program is designed for those who recently completed a bachelor’s degree and wish to become an Occupational Therapist. Students earn their OTD in only 28 months, and the program provides opportunities to explore a wide range of health conditions and settings in the OT field.
Explore Entry-Level OTD : Checkerboard 1 - Doctor of Occupational Therapy (ELOTD)
This program is for practicing OT professionals with a bachelor’s or master’s in occupational therapy who want to advance or transition into leadership roles, teaching, or advocacy. This program is fully online over 16 months, does not require travel to campus, and the curriculum can be tailored to specific interests.
Explore Post-Professional OTD : Checkerboard 2 - Occupational Therapy, Post-Professional (PPOTD)
This program is for licensed occupational therapy assistants with a bachelor’s degree. Over 28 months, students earn their occupational therapy doctorate with online classes and eight weekend campus experiences in Pittsburgh. Students can complete fieldwork and a capstone project where they work and are eligible to sit for the NBCOT Occupational Therapist registration exam.
