When you step into Mellon Center, you are transported into a time full of charm and grace. This building boasts gorgeous woodwork, welcoming spaces, and a variety of intimate venues. Use it to create an experience your guests will remember, whether you’re hosting a wedding, anniversary dinner, cocktail reception, or meeting.
Explore Mellon Center : Checkerboard 1 - Mellon Center
A non-denominational space, the Chapel is perfect for a wedding or a special performance of music or the written word. With its magnificent entrance, stunning windows, and neutral décor, it’s a setting that will linger in your mind long after the big day is over. While it holds up to 600 guests, seating can be arranged to have an intimate and close feel.
With a capacity of 125, the Music Center’s Welker Room is a distinctive choice for wedding receptions, cocktail events, speakers, and musical performances. With its generous spaces, wood paneling, and palladium windows, the Center can also be used for meetings, breakout sessions, and even sit-down dinners.
Do you need a bride’s room or a small space for cocktails? The Founders Room, connecting to the Welker Room, is an intimate spot that holds 20 people.
Use one or both spaces in this working theatre. Designed for plays, concerts, and lectures, the Eddy Theatre is built to hold 275 people and has excellent acoustics, making it ideal for a mid-sized event. The lobby is a distinctive choice for a small cocktail event or happy hour for up to 25 people.
Beautifully built with a three-story glass atrium, this venue is an excellent choice for an intimate event. Light and airy, the atrium can hold up to 20 people for a small cocktail/happy hour event or a sit-down lunch or dinner.
Ready for speakers, panel discussions, and large presentations, this lecture hall comfortably seats 72 people and is built for excellent line-of-sight and acoustics.
