Each year, the Office of Career Development collects data related to the career outcomes of our most recent alumni, guided by best practices set by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) First Destination Survey. This page provides a high-level overview of the data collected, both institution-wide and by program area.

Class of 2025 Career Outcomes

Six months after graduation, Chatham University alumni are launching meaningful careers, advancing their education, and applying their skills in real-world settings. These outcomes reflect the value of a Chatham education and our commitment to preparing students for lives of purpose, meaning, and fulfilling work.

The latest results: six months after graduation, 91% of undergraduate students and 95% of graduate students from the class of 2025 were employed or enrolled in continuing education.*

Graduate Employer Highlights

Class of 2025 graduates are working with leading healthcare systems, corporations, and universities across the country. A few highlighted employers include UPMC, Allegheny Health Network, PNC, Highmark Health, SAP, Dick’s Sporting Goods, PPG, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Yale New Haven Hospital, and institutions such as the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Pennsylvania, and Chatham University.

What Counts as a Career Outcome?

Chatham University aligns post-graduation reporting with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Outcomes definition. Career outcomes include graduates who, within six months of graduation, are:

  • Employed (full-time or part-time)
  • Continuing their education
  • Participating in volunteer or service programs
  • Serving in the military
  • Pursuing other positive destinations

This approach ensures consistency with national standards and supports meaningful comparisons across institutions.
