The new Athletic Annex will showcase an impressive entrance and lobby, renovated offices, ample storage space, and a brand-new wrestling practice room with flexible areas for wrestling practices and training.
The batting cages and bullpens will be dedicated training areas for baseball and softball student-athletes. Spacious locker rooms offer comfortable, modern facilities to accommodate general users and support Chatham’s growing men’s and women’s wrestling teams.
The Athletic Annex's weight room and training areas will serve as a premier fitness facility accessible to athletes, students, and the broader University community.
The Health & Human Performance Center boasts a wealth of space, featuring ample storage options for state-of-the-art equipment, faculty and staff offices, a small group meeting space, and a kitchenette with adjacent collaboration areas equipped with flexible furniture for students and faculty to gather and collaborate. Its close proximity to the Chatham Strength Training facility and locker rooms provides additional opportunities for internships, hands-on learning, and real-time collaboration with Chatham Athletes.
The Research and MS Sports Lab is a modern facility spanning 2,000 square feet, featuring a thermal chamber, a Biodex isokinetic unit, force plate analysis, and a wide range of advanced sports assessment and training tools. It includes flexible furniture for lectures and hands-on learning, ample open space for research activities, workstations for cellular and fluid analysis, storage for equipment, and an integrated water source.
The Athletic Training Lab is a spacious 2,100-square-foot facility designed for interactive, hands-on learning. It includes plinth and taping tables and is equipped with industry-recognized modalities such as diagnostic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, LASER therapy, traction, and more. Additionally, the lab features a variety of mannequins, models, rehabilitation tools, and diagnostic equipment to support both the current and future needs of the athletic training profession.
Our 1,800-square-foot Human Performance Lab offers flexible learning opportunities, featuring both lecture and hands-on learning areas. The lab is equipped with stacking chairs and mobile tables for lecture-style learning, along with plinth tables and advanced human performance testing and training equipment, which includes an In-Body analysis system, metabolic assessment carts, EKGs, and more.
The Health & Human Performance Center features a 950-square-foot flexible teaching space with a seating capacity of 32 students. This technology-enhanced environment enables the intimate delivery of content across the entire Department of Health and Human Performance, providing ample space for in-class demonstrations and engagement.
