All students have access to the services and resources of the Counseling Center, Student Health Services, and a variety of educational programs in health and wellness for the campus community.

We offer initial concise appointments, individual therapy, support groups, crisis appointments, and outreach programs for classes and groups.

Explore Resources : Checkerboard 4 - Referrals & ResourcesChatham's Counseling Center, in partnership with Excela Health, hosts a doctoral internship in health service psychology for doctoral psychology students. By merging our resources and opportunities, we are able to provide a unique clinical experience for doctoral interns.
Explore the Internship : Checkerboard 5 - Doctoral InternshipStudent Health Services on the Shadyside Campus can be reached at 412-365-1714 and is open during the academic year from Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (first appointment is 8:30 a.m.; last appointment is 3:30 p.m.). Services provided include basic first aid intervention, illness and injury assessment, and starter doses of over-the-counter medication and is free for all full-time Chatham students. Students residing at Eden Hall have the same access to services by visiting Student Health Services on Shadyside Campus or UPMC Urgent Care Wexford. Only Eden Hall residents may visit this Urgent Care site free of charge.
For any after-hours or urgent care needs, students are shuttled to the nearby UPMC Urgent Care of Shadyside to be treated free of charge. Students that require on-going maintenance care can be referred to numerous physicians in the neighboring area. Students residing at Eden Hall have the same access to services by visiting the UPMC Urgent Care Wexford. Only Eden Hall residents may visit this Urgent Care site free of charge.
