DREAM Project

In the summer of 2025, Chatham University’s Graduate Psychology Program was awarded a three-year grant from the Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA) to train doctoral health service psychology students.

The DREAM Project aims to:

  1. Recruit, train, and prepare trainees for the community-based primary care settings they will serve in.
  2. Provide trainees with didactic and experiential training curricula, including trauma-informed care, substance use disorder (SUD)/opioid use disorder (OUD) prevention and treatment services, along with interdisciplinary training.
  3. Develop academic and clinical partnerships.
  4. Provide ongoing faculty development and staff training.

Federally qualified health centers and community sites students may work in include:

  • Northside Christian Health Center
  • Cornerstone Care Community Health Centers
  • Primary Care Health Services, Inc.
  • Allies for Health + Wellbeing
  • University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center
