BIOGRAPHY

Angelica received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Duquesne University and received her Master of Occupational Therapy and Post-Professional Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Chatham University. Angelica has worked in a variety of practice settings, including inpatient rehabilitation (stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury), acute care, and outpatient hand/neuro therapy. Angelica also has experience working in chronic pain OT. Angelica's primary areas of interest include occupational therapists' roles in aging and neurorehabilitation. Angelica's capstone project for Chatham's Post-Professional OTD program focused on providing education to caregivers of stroke survivors admitted on an inpatient rehabilitation unit. Angelica hopes to continue her research and scholarship focusing on the geriatric population.
