Third Party Providers

If Chatham's exchanges and partner programs do not meet your needs, you may also select another study abroad opportunity.

After discussing with their academic advisors and the Office of Global Engagement, students apply to provider programs and pay tuition and program costs directly to third-party providers. Students who study abroad on a provider program do not pay tuition or fees to Chatham during the term they are abroad.

Chatham undergraduate students may use their $1200 study abroad voucher toward tuition and program costs. Students completing an International Studies Certificate in one of five regions of the world may be eligible for an additional $1800 toward a credit bearing experience abroad.

Students can use Federal Financial aid toward semester study abroad and should check with the Office of Financial Aid about their federal and state aid. Students may not use their Chatham grants and scholarships toward third-party programs.

Students can search for program options using these online resources: Passport Study AbroadStudy Abroad, or Go OverseasPrior to applying to study abroad, students must discuss their program choice with the Office of Global Engagement to confirm compatibility with Chatham policies.

Please review the websites of study abroad providers below for more information on locations, program options, deadlines, and costs. These providers offer fall, spring, and summer programs. Most providers also offer options for internships abroad.
