BIOGRAPHY
Kelly Henderson is the K-12 Education Coordinator for Chatham's Eden Hall Campus. In this role, she works with student and professional staff to organize school partnerships, field trips, teacher training programs and summer camps. She views this program as an avenue for revitalizing K-12 education through meaningful, sustainable and community-based projects. Before coming to Chatham, Kelly worked in government and university material science labs researching more efficient solar cells and also helped to launch the Pittsburgh 2030 District while working at the Green Building Alliance locally. Kelly also has a background in outdoor education, environmental education, and communications, and is a LEED Accredited Professional for Existing Buildings Operations and Maintenance. She holds a Bachelor degree in Physics from Colgate University and a Masters in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
